The Liquen Collection
A collection of curated journeys
This collection brings together experiences designed by Liquen to share a particular way of exploring Tierra del Fuego: with time, attention, and a genuine connection to the territory.
These are not group trips in the traditional sense. Each experience can be enjoyed by a traveler and their own group—family, friends, or colleagues—but may also be opened to solo travelers or couples who wish to join a shared departure.
We value this way of traveling because we believe that encounters with different perspectives, conversations, and silences also transform the way a place is experienced.
These experiences are not fixed itineraries. They were designed from the way Liquen observes, understands, and moves through the territory. Every proposal can be adapted and redesigned according to the interests and pace of each group.
Snow & Ski
El pulso de la pendiente
In Ushuaia, winter is learned through repetition. This experience invites travelers into the rhythm of skiing with time, attention, and space to enjoy the process: days at Cerro Castor devoted to building confidence, refining technique, and allowing the body to discover its own way of moving across the snow.
Liquen takes care of the framework, logistics, and flow of the journey so your attention can remain where it belongs: on the mountain, on the experience itself, and on the memories it leaves behind.

Notes from the road
Travelling in Patagonia means accepting that the territory always has the final say.
That’s why our experiences are designed with flexibility and care, adapting to what each season and each weather allows.
Living seasons
In autumn, mushrooms emerge. In spring, flowers open. In summer, the light stretches almost to midnight. In winter, snow redraws the landscape. Each experience adjusts to the time of year and to its quiet rhythms.
Small groups
We usually travel with 8 to 10 people, a scale that sustains intimacy and quality. For corporate trips or private groups, we adapt group size with tailored logistics.
Local paths & local decisions
Our routes are not closed in an office. They are shaped on the ground, together with certified local guides who read terrain, timing and safety with precision.
Situated hospitality
The accommodations, transfers and restaurants you’ll see in detailed itineraries are indicative. They are confirmed and adjusted according to availability and in collaboration with local partners — always prioritising projects that share our values.
Complementary options
Each journey can be extended or complemented with additional activities: longer boat trips, horseback riding, packrafting on the Olivia River, cycling routes, helicopter flights, or stays in remote estancias. Everything is talked through, adapted, and cared for.
